We have been teaching in Panglao since 2015. The above video was shot at our first location, but in September 2019 we moved to a brand new location about 300 meters from where we had our first freediving centre. We still have direct access to the famous Napaling Reef with the massive drop-off and the Panglao Sardines.
We are now based in the most amazing high-end facility directly on the access road to Napaling Reef. The facility is fully equipped classrooms, premium freediving gear, a two-lane 25-meter pool, fitness and gym area and luxury bamboo bungalows and canopy for our yoga and stretching sessions.

Zero to Hero freediving programs starting daily, every quarter new
freediving internships and we run instructor courses pretty much every month in our shop and now almost weekly online.
The Freedive Academy Panglao focuses on three things;
- Recreational course, mainly Level 1 and 2 courses.
- Master Training
- Professional Freedive Development
The SSI, Molchanovs and AIDA recreational courses: The Freedive Academy Panglao offers a wide range of freediving courses and many many freediving specialities. Of course the most popular are the SSI Level 1 and Level 2 and Molchanovs Wave 1 and 2
freediving courses, and these courses can be started at pretty much any day of the week, and are being run many times a week. We also run at least one Level 3 or Wave 3 course a month, but usually, these courses are scheduled weeks or even months in advance. If you are interested in joining us for a Level 3 course and for example Master training, be sure to contact us so we can make you an excellent package.
Master Training in Panglao: If you are looking for the best place to do
freediving training in Asia, Panglao for sure and without any doubt has the best conditions. Training with direct access to -120 meters depth from shore, diving at any time of the day without the use of a boat, up to 40-meter visibility, up to 31C water temperature, and the out-of-the-water conditions are pretty great too with affordable, and excellent long-term stay housing, healthy and tasty food available all around the island. Whether you want to train by yourself or follow the MASTER+ program, with coaching and guidance from the experienced instructors, the Freedive Academy Panglao and Panglao itself are a real paradise for master freedivers.
Professional Freedive Development programs: With Vincent, the shop owner being an SSI Freedive Instructor Trainer (and SSI Swim Teacher Trainer) and Molchanovs Instructor Trainer, the Freedive Academy Panglao is capable of running an
SSI Freedive Instructor Course and
Molchanovs Instructor Course pretty much every month. We have a beautiful high-end facility, based on incredible Panglao at a fantastic location with depth right from shore, plus because we’re a big professional development centre, we can offer many different professional freediver development programs. With the Freedive Academy Panglao, you can start at any time a zero-to-hero program, apply for a freediving internship, or follow a custom professional development program.
Additionally; if you are interested in becoming a speciality freediving instructor like Monofin Instructor, Variable Weight Instructor, or any of the other many freediving or ecology specialities be sure to contact us too. And if you want to broaden your market as an instructor, you can also choose to participate in the
Swim Teacher courses or
