PhilippineDives.com is accepting guest posts from any veteran or aspiring writers wanting to showcase their skills and build their writing portfolio. Since this website is primarily for scuba diving and freediving enthusiasts, you yourself must be a diver to contribute.
Guest Posts are voluntary and we don’t have any compensation package for contributors. However, there are some awesome benefits you can enjoy by being a content contributor on PhilippineDives.com
If you’re interested in submitting your content, please email us first so we can plan before diving into things.
Be prepared to propose 3 Titles/Headlines you want to write about. We highly encourage you to do keyword research to ensure maximum exposure for your topic in mind. If you do not know how to do this, we can help you brainstorm!
Once approved, here are additional requirements:
1. Your article should be at least 1200 words. It must be original and has never been published before. Duplicate content is bad for SEO and plagiarism is even worse.
2. It must be written in second person “you” perspective to keep the audience in mind. Exemptions will be made for stories based on personal diving experiences.
3. You must include a minimum of 5 relevant images that belongs to you or have permission to use with credit attribution to rightful owners. Do not source images that were taken from the internet or stock photos.
4. You must submit photos in JPEG/PNG format with at least 1200 px width dimension. Title your photos correctly by describing the photo (Example: scuba diver in dauin.jpg)
5. You may include relevant, non-competing links that will enhance user experience. You cannot include paid, sponsored or affiliate links.
6. Include a short author bio with links to your personal blog or site and a social media account you want to promote.
