Solitude One is a 52-meter steel-hulled liveaboard operated by Singapore-based Solitude World, running Philippines diving expeditions since 2016. The vessel underwent a complete interior refresh in 2023, bringing contemporary design to the cabins and common areas. Accommodation & Onboard Amenities

Solitude One features four cabin categories across two decks. The four main deck staterooms measure 18.5 sqm each, furnished with king beds and day beds for additional guests. Six lower deck deluxe cabins at 12.5 sqm offer double or twin configurations. The spacious 25.6 sqm quad cabin on the lower deck suits families or groups traveling together.

All cabins include climate control, flat-screen TVs with USB media support, en-suite bathrooms with hot water, hair dryers, bathrobes, and 190cm mattresses that accommodate taller guests. Universal power sockets with USB charging are standard throughout.

The air-conditioned saloon houses a 55-inch television with an entertainment library and opens to the dedicated camera room. The expansive sun deck features a bow-side jacuzzi, cushioned loungers, and bean bags for relaxation between dives. Dining is served buffet-style with five meals daily, including light and full breakfasts, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner.

Diving Operations

Diving is conducted from two purpose-built skiffs — one 11.5m tender with twin 200HP outboards and another with twin 150HP engines, plus an 8.3m support boat. Groups dive in ratios of 6:1 with experienced guides, and up to four dives daily are offered including night dives where permitted.

Routes & Itineraries

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park trips run March through June, departing Puerto Princesa for 7-day expeditions to this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Expect whale sharks, manta rays, reef sharks, and pristine walls throughout North Atoll, South Atoll, and Jessie Beazley Reef.

The Visayas season from June through December covers Malapascua for dawn thresher shark encounters at Monad Shoal, plus macro diving in Romblon for rare nudibranchs including the elusive Melibe colemani. Extended 10-14 day itineraries combine Tubbataha with Anilao or Cebu transitions.
