Seamus Scuba Shack is the only scuba resort in San Juan, Northern Samar! Allow us to take you diving in one of the most unexplored areas of the Philippines.
Our dive shop has been open for business since August 2018 and we’ve been taking out divers to local dives sites. Seamus Scuba Shack is a diving center that offers both SSI and PADI dive courses. Both scuba diving agencies are recognized all over the world.
We love the sea life here and we are currently working with the local government to set up a sanctuary in this part of the Philippines.
If you happen to be in Samar and want to go scuba diving, Seamus Scuba Shack does several dives each week. You are welcome to join us as we explore some great sites in the area.
We also offer SSI Try Scuba for those wanting to try scuba diving for those wanting to experience what it feels like to breathe underwater.

Seamus Scuba Shack is only 15 minutes south of Victoria, on the main highway.
There are no direct flights from Manila to Samar. If you are based in Manila or entering the Philippine via Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), make your way to Clark International Airport. From there you can can fly to Catarman or Calbayog via Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific. Once you get to either of these locations, we can pick you up from the airport. You can also take public transportation bus or jeep which is roughly Php100 and will take 1-2 hours travel.
You can also take a bus from Manila to Allen, Northern Samar. We recommend the Mega Bus that leaves Cubao Bus Station. But be prepared to travel 19 hours from Manila to Northern Samar!
