Papa Fred’s Beach Resort occupies the east side of Sabang Beach in Puerto Galera, a quieter stretch than the central Sabang strip while remaining within walking distance of the main dive shops, restaurants, and Sabang Pier. The resort’s 14 rooms are built to European standards with high-quality fixtures, and the property features a rooftop pool and Papa Fred’s Steakhouse as its on-site dining operation — the restaurant draws guests from neighboring resorts as well as in-house visitors.

The east Sabang location gives the property a calmer atmosphere than properties at the center of the strip, with Sabang Pier just steps away for ferry connections to Batangas and day trips around Puerto Galera.

Papa Fred’s Beach Resort does not operate its own dive center. Diving is arranged through Sabang’s cluster of independent PADI dive shops, all within walking distance on the beach road.

• Snorkeling: Snorkeling available from the beach. Equipment available through nearby operators.
