Liquid Dive Resort

Overview

Liquid Dive Resort is a PADI 5-Star Career Development Center with 14 beachfront cottages in Bulak, Dauin, Negros Oriental. The resort operates under an in-house Course Director with a long-standing local team.

A 1km winding access road separates the property from the highway. At 14 cottages, guests see the same faces at meals and dive briefings. Green Fins member since 2019.

Liquid sits 20 minutes south of Dumaguete City. The in-house Institute for Marine Research (IMR) works with local government on reef conservation.

Accommodation & Facilities

All accommodation is in individual bamboo-built beachfront cottages with private bathroom and sea or garden-facing balcony.

  • Rooms: 14 cottages — AC or fan, double or twin beds. All with private bathroom, balcony, WiFi. Breakfast included.
  • Facilities: Two pools (including dive training pool), CrossFit gym, co-working space, massage cabin with Thai massage and aromatic hot spring bath, pool table, darts, boutique shop.
  • Dining: Restaurant and coffee shop with poolside bar. International and Filipino menu. Cooked-to-order breakfast included.

The gym, co-work space, and yoga sessions give non-divers a full day without leaving the property.

Dive Center & Operations

Liquid’s PADI 5-Star CDC sits adjacent to reception in a garden setting. The center runs boat and shore diving across 40+ sites, with day trips to Apo Island, Siquijor, and Sumilon.

  • Training: PADI 5-Star CDC. Courses from Discover Scuba through Instructor under in-house Course Director. Full specialty range. Technical diving qualifications available.
  • Equipment: Full rental gear including computers and torches. Nitrox on-site. Private customer equipment and camera room. Separate rental gear room. Spacious rinse area.
  • Boats: Multiple boats for coastal and island diving. Dedicated training pool on-site. Shore diving on house reef.
  • Guides: Local divemasters and instructors, many with years at the center. Small groups. English-speaking. Dedicated briefing area with multimedia.

Green Fins member since 2019. IMR runs conservation programs including reef monitoring with the local community.

Daily Experience

Morning dives launch from the beach. Briefings run at the dedicated area near the dive center. Gear is stored in the customer equipment room or rental room depending on whether you brought your own.

Surface intervals happen poolside or at the coffee shop bar. The co-work space handles emails and photo editing between dives. Yoga sessions run on a regular schedule.

Evenings are quiet — the secluded location means the restaurant and bar are the social center. At 14 cottages, the dinner crowd is the same group from the dive boat.
