Last Frontier Dive is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre and Green Fins-certified eco center at Maite, San Juan, Siquijor. The center sits between two marine sanctuaries — Maite and Tubod — with the Maite sanctuary as the house reef accessible directly from shore. Owner Kenji leads operations and is named repeatedly in reviews for his responsiveness, personalization, and ability to create genuinely different dives even within the same site. Instructors on the team include Pascal, Joel (Jose Miguel), Ken, Sara, Yeray, and Sai — with courses confirmed in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.
Three boats serve the center. The maximum guide ratio is 4 divers per divemaster, with 2 for Discover Scuba sessions. Accommodation and food are available on-site. Last Frontier also offers Apo Island day trips.
Last Frontier covers the full PADI recreational pathway with IDC-level instruction available through the resident Course Director. Courses run in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese — confirmed from multiple reviewer accounts.
Daily dive departures from the Maite base. Shore dives on the house reef and boat dives to sites around the island. Night dives are available. Apo Island day trips bookable. Kenji joins dives directly when schedule allows, and the guides keep groups small to allow flexible, interest-based dive planning.
