Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort is the flagship property of the Filipino-owned Bluewater Resorts group, established in 1989 on Mactan Island’s eastern shore at Maribago Bay. The 7-hectare property includes 255 rooms, a 110-meter beachfront, a private island, and a water sports and recreation center.

The resort sits along the Hilutungan Channel, where currents from depths exceeding 550 meters support the diving and snorkeling conditions that make this stretch of Mactan coast a recognized dive area.

The resort’s scale — 255 rooms across low-rise buildings — reflects its position as Mactan’s original full-service beach resort.

Dive Center & Operations

The water sports and recreation center handles diving, snorkeling, and surface water activities from the beachfront. The Hilutungan Channel location provides access to Mactan’s dive sites and nearby marine sanctuaries.
