Angelyn’s Dive Resort

Overview

Angelyn’s Dive Resort sits directly on Sabang Beach in Puerto Galera, with the dive shop opening onto the sand. The resort operates its own PADI dive center with boats departing from the beachfront.

With 60 air-conditioned rooms across multiple categories, Angelyn’s runs as a full-service beach resort where diving is the main draw. The Sabang ferry terminal is a three-minute walk away.

Dive sites sit three to five minutes by boat from the resort. Verde Island trips can be arranged separately.

Accommodation & Facilities

Rooms range from compact economy units near the dive shop to deluxe cabins with private verandas fronting the beach. Mountain view and sea view options are available in the main building.

Dive Center & Operations

Angelyn’s runs its own PADI dive center with air compressors, dive boats, and a standby generator on-site. The shop has direct beach access — gear up and walk to the boat.

  • Training: PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Advanced Open Water. All courses packaged with accommodation on request.
  • Equipment: Full rental gear on-site. Air quality graded “Excellent” by the Philippine Commission on Sports Scuba Diving (PCSSD).
  • Boats: Multiple dive boats departing from the beach. Dive sites three to five minutes away. Verde Island trips available on arrangement.
  • Guides: PADI Divemasters and Instructors. Small dive teams standard. English and Tagalog.

Daily Experience

Morning dives launch from the beach. Gear is handled by dive staff — walk to the boat, kit up, and go. Snacks and drinks are provided between dives back at the resort.

Surface intervals play out at the infinity pool or along the beachfront. The restaurant serves lunch with views of Sabang Beach. A second dive runs in the afternoon.

Evenings revolve around the beachfront restaurant and Sabang’s strip, which starts a few steps from the resort entrance. The resort sits at the center of Sabang’s activity.
